This group consists of teenager’s up to age 19. These children have completed their primary course of study. They attend school from form 1-4, high school, and report to school from 7am-5pm. It is common for Kenyan teenagers to drop out of school during these years, so support during this time is critical. OKOA’s role with this age group is to provide support via school, but also at home.
OKOA helps these adolescents foster good connections with guardians and or parents. OKOA provides emotional support and an additional opportunity for teens to share what’s going on in their lives.
