“After sharing with my family and friends the burden in my heart to work with children at risk, they agreed to support my dream. My family agreed to relocate to Vihiga County from Kitale where they enjoyed bread and butter, they had a comfortable life. I reminded them of my heart to work with the neglected and abused children because of my own experiences on the streets. Thanks to a Good Samaritan, Mr. Oudo, I was reconnected to my family. I found a loving maternal grandfather who nurtured me and ensured I schooled properly. I was rescued because someone took the initiative to love me and show me the way. Today, I have a beautiful family and am blessed with three daughters and a son. In my heart, I made it my personal mission to work for the welfare of children. I now continue that mission with the establishment of OKOA CHILD LINK..”
